Fashion and art often speak a common language made up of creativity and research. New testimony of this liaison is the latest edition of the Dior Lady Art project, where the historic French fashion house presented ten new versions of its famous Lady Dior bag, each transformed with imagination by the unique vision of an artist. Since the launch of Dior Lady Art in 2016, Lady Dior and the iconic pendants have been transformed by many important artists. Ora, for the fifth edition, a new group took up the challenge. They come from China, Madagascar, India, South Africa, Russia and the United States. Among them there are: Joël Andrianomearisoa, Judy Chicago, Giesla Colon, Bharti kher, Mai-Thu Perret, Recycle Group, Chris Soal, Claire Stool e Olga Titus.

The bag was first launched in 1994 by the then creative director Gianfranco Ferré, and the style has been famously loved by many women.

"A handcrafted jewel designed and made with the finest materials and an open book on the historical identity of a house deeply attached to its symbols", writes the house in a press release.

“He writes his own story in bold twists, beyond the realm of fashion”.
