THE SPRING OF VINCENT VAN GOGH

by Daniela Troni.

Spring means trees in bloom and I can only think of the work "flowering almond branch" that Vincent Van Gogh painted inl 1890.

It tells the beginning of a new life, that of his nephew Vincent Willem, to whom the painting is dedicated. Van Gogh faithfully reproduces all the knots and tangles of the branches and the lightness of the small flowers on the canvas, everything appears without perspective while maintaining the elegance typical of Japanese prints. Together with my little artists, we made these works trying to grasp all the fundamental points of the original painting, the cheerful atmosphere of spring, the pure colors and the oriental inspiration.

You don't seem to smell the flowers that have just bloomed?

Fantasticarte loves Vincent Van Gogh.
