HIRAMEKI, in the beginning it was the stain

Fantasticarte by Daniela Troni |•|

Hirameki, in Japanese it means "flash of inspiration", refers to the spark of inspiration that triggers imagination and creativity, it is a practice that teaches to develop the imagination starting from ink blots, that with the addition of a few lines, drawn in pen, they transform into unexpected shapes and objects.

Even the great Leonardo Da Vinci, he urged his students to be inspired by looking at the mold stains on the walls! But you don't need to be an artist to be suggested by a splash of color, just let your imagination run free. It reminds me of the game I used to play as a child, when I watched a cloud go by and saw a horse in it, a rabbit, sometimes a curled up cat, in conclusion, I let my imagination run free. If you feel like giving it a try, I suggest the book called Hirameki, edict of Thames & Hudson, where the two authors Peng and Hu teach us to find inspiration in splashes of color, with many examples divided into seven parts: animalism, collections, variations, additions, conbinations, interactions e freestyle, my favorite part!

Hirameki teaches us to look beyond, to go beyond conventions by opening infinite perspectives and multiple interpretations.

Fantasticarte loves hirameki.
