BOLOGNA – La mostra “Ex Africa”, inaugurated the Archaeological Museum (via dell’Archiginnasio 2), It will remain open until September 8th with a surprising path, by Gigi Pezzoli, composto da nine thematic sections, where you have circa 270 pieces come from museums around the world: mostly metal sculptures, wood, terracotta.They start the year one thousand and you get to contemporary art, across an entire continent, from Nigeria to Mali, from Gabon to Sierra Leone.
The exhibition was organized by CMS.Cultura and pays tribute to Ezio Bassani, among the greatest Italian scholars of African art, disappeared last summer, and co-curator of this exhibition.
