And it is’ Closed Sunday 2 October OrchiBo, the annual event dedicated to fans of orchids organized by AERADO (Association of Emilia Romagna Orchid Friends) under the patronage of the Region Emilia Romagna. Let the Villa Mazzacorati spaces, the demonstration and’ held in the heart of Bologna, in the picturesque setting of the cloister of San Francesco, at the Basilica.
The selection of exhibitors marks a change of pace compared to the latest editions of the exhibition giving OrchiBo 2016 a decidedly international flavor. Alongside important Italian nurseries submitted their proposals incredible exhibitors from around the world, both European (Germany) that the South Americans (Brazil) and Asian (Taiwan). A wonderful opportunity to see specimens of orchids from all corners of the globe.

Of note also the presence of the group Bonsai DLF Bologna, with a selection of their best plants.

During the event, on Saturday, the Italian Association of Judges Orchidofilia have rewarded the most beautiful orchids while AERADO members have become available to the public with their experience in the field of cultivation of orchids, giving advice and giving “first aid "on the plants brought by visitors.
They have enjoyed great success on Saturday afternoons and Sunday, thematic seminars where all the secrets of these wonderful plants were revealed and well explained.
